I will be doing a series of blogs regarding the 2010 national election.

Why do I need to be excited for the next election?

Here are some of my thoughts:

–To exercise my right to vote as a citizen of this country.

–To have a chance to choose the candidates who I think are the best to lead our city, province and nation.

–To support candidates that I think have the integrity to serve.

–To participate in any way like campaigning (endorsing through word of mouth or giving away pamphlets)

–First time in history that we will be using poll automation or computerization. Hopefully we can say goodbye to manual voting and cheating??!!

–To go back to my home town.

How about you, what makes you excited for the 2010 national election? Did you register already?
