Thanks Dad For Everything
Today, the world is celebrating Father’s day, a momentous event that pay tributes to dads all over the globe for their love, sacri
fice and hard work.

Let me take this opportunity to honor my dad.
When I was in grade one, daddy went abroad to work in a construction company for many years. During that time, I might not be able to understand why he needed to leave, but I believe it’s for our own good as a family. Years of having him not around was not that easy. It was the hardest season of our family. I remembered having Parents Teachers Association (PTA) meetings and commencement exercises in the school where only my mom was present. I always dreamed off that one day my dad will be there attending meetings, cheering on our side and helping mom pin the ribbons and medals of our accomplishments. And I knew, with those years he was away, he was sacrificing many things because of his love for us. Dad might not be that expressive in showing his love, but he had his own way of showing it by providing for our needs. I learned also from him to be generous in every way as long as you have the capacity to do it.
If I could only have the power to bring back the past, I would rather want dad to be with us. Desiring for his PRESENCE in our family. Dad you’re my hero!
Now that I’m a dad too, I’m trying to be the best father to my son/s (the other one on the way) by the grace of God. One of the best gifts I could ever give to them is my presence. Investing time with my children is one of the best moments I know that they will treasure in their lives. Knowing that I will always be with them will bring security and affection as they grow up.
To my dad and all the dads out there , Happy Father’s day. You all are the World’s Greatest Dads!
