Isang Buwang Pangyayari…

During our staff meeting last Tuesday, we had an evaluation of what transpired after the one month of 1L2L series and seminars in Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela (CAMANAVA).
Here are some of the feedback (random):
• There was an impact in the lives of people. That’s why they were coming back.
• Promotional tools especially the t-shirt got the attention of people and made them ask what is 1L2L. (we thought that next time we should still do this for one month or we have more promotion like the shirts sine we noticed that even on the last Sunday there were a lot who bought the shirts)
• Most of the people opted to attend Sunday Services more than the weekday seminars. (maybe because of the dynamics every service!!??)
• Follow-up activities after the series are being requested by some attendees. (if we can do it in different schools such as WCC, STI College, Caloocan High, Fatima in Valenzuela and other schools)
• There was an improvement in the behavior of high school students especially from World City College (WCC)
• There were some open doors and opportunities offered by some school administration and city hall of Malabon.
New Discoveries…
I asked two of our small group leaders to share during the campaign. Joshua Aquino, an engineering student and currently the Student Council President of STI Caloocan.

The other person is Cherry Marcelo who works at World Vision. Both of them are faithful volunteers in our kids church. Josh also is the area coordinator and Cherry is one of the kids teachers. They are great preachers/speakers. Future campus missionaries and church planters. (come mown!!!)

Result:
Campus Ministry
There’s an 11% growth in attendance in our Freeday Friday.
There was a change of atmosphere in our youth service since then. People get excited to go to our gathering every time.
• Students from World City College ( WCC) expressed their desire to do what we are doing. Like sharing the word of God, doing small groups and become ministers someday. (they were encouraged and challenged with the lives of our small group leaders and campus missionaries. Great job guys!)
• New small groups were birthed and established.
• Students were excited to do their follow ups.
Sunday Service
• We will have a 3pm service starting this Sunday, March 15 because there were people added who cannot be accommodated anymore by our 11am service.
• Kids attendance also increased.(there was a group of kids who invited their friends and neighbors to attend the church. these kids were faithful in attending kids church even though their parents were not yet believers.)
• Kids are attentive while discussing the topics of the series.
(Great job kids teachers and volunteers. You’re our modern heroes.)

I’m excited for the new things that are about to happen in the coming days and months which includes our NEW PLACE!
